I was waiting for this phone for quite a while and honestly, it's lived up to most expectations. i am going to give a brief and short description of the phone first, and then i'll list the pros and cons. i see MANY reviews saying that people can "feel" the 6 gb of ram, but honestly it isn't much different from a phone with 4GB Ram as no game can utilise it to its full extent. its still a great feature to have though! the dash charging is extremely useful and my phone gets completely charged within an hour. the display is amazing for its price range and the phone is unbelievably thin please dont ruin its look with a flip case! i haven't really used the camera too much, but it hasn't lived up to expectations as of yet and it tends to get blurry as you zoom in. i haven't really seen the phone heat up too much.

PROS-

1) Charging- the 0-60% in 30 mins is by far my favorite feature for this phone and it really comes in handy

2)Sleekness- it is EXTREMELY thin and it gets a very premium feel due to that

3)Processor- its got a top of the line processor and to simply put it- there isn't anything faster in the market!

4) Oxygen OS- even though many people are complaining about how basic Oxygen OS is, I LOVE IT! i really like how they left android as it is and haven't added any unnecessary bloatware. this was one of the reasons i wanted to buy the nexus 5x, but i am glad that they have learnt something from google and left android as is

5) Fingerprint scanner- it is, without doubt, one of the best scanners i have seen! it is LIGHTNING fast (0.1 sec).

6) Free screen guard- when i unboxed my phone, i was pleasantly surprised to see that they had already put a very high quality screen protector on my phone. PLEASE do not buy an external one :) the screen guard is as good as it gets.

7) Screen size- atleast for me, this phone is of the perfect size. its not so big that you need to use it with 2 hands at all times, but it's also not so small that you can't read on it properly.

CONS-

1) Battery life- this is probably one of the biggest cons. the battery is too small for a phone of this size and specs. overnight, the battery loses 15% just while its one standby, even without me using it! generally, my phone lasts for about 8 hours a day with occasional use and about an hour of video streaming. even though this is not that bad, i am scared that it might start to deteriorate.

2) Camera- the camera is certainly lackluster and i would have hoped for something better from them. its not that its atrocious or anything, but it comes NOWHERE close to nexus 6p

3) Speaker- I would have really liked at least one front facing speaker. as a person that likes watching videos without headphones on, i can easily make out the difference in loudness with the speaker that they currently have.

4) Back of the phone- even if it wasn't intentional, the back of the phone looks EXACTLY like an HTC phone. when i showed my phone to my friends, the first question that they asked was whether it was some new htc model. back of one plus one is awesome (sandstrom)

5) No earphones with the phone

6) Non removable battery- even though most companies refrain from implementing this, i was still really hoping for it. it can be a huge life saver when your phone suddenly hangs

VERDICT-

The phone is almost a steal for this price and the features are top notch! even though the battery life is less, its still quite a lot as long as it stays at this level. most of the cons were just me nitpicking and they aren't really a big problem. the phone feels extremely premium and honestly, it runs smoother than nexus 6p. I would like to see a better camera and improved battery life in their next phone, though.

I think it's much better than anything else in the price range provided photography isn't a main concern. also, please ignore people that say this phone constantly heats up. I have used it extensively and never encountered that problem.
