Xiaomi Redmi Note coming to India in Dec for Rs 9,999

China is literally invading India through a company that is slowly but surely conquering the smartphone market here in the country.

After having sold over lakhs of its flagship smartphones, the Redmi 1S and Mi3, in India Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note in the country next month.

Hugo Barra of Xiaomi had, earlier this week, revealed that the company was planning to launch its Redmi Note in India either in December or in January.

However, sources say Manu Jain, the head of operations in India revealed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note would be launch in India in December.

The Redmi Note has been priced very competitively at just Rs 9,999 and could easily be a winner considering its specifications.

As per reports, the Redmi Note has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display and boasts of a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor supported by 2GB of RAM.

It also comes with an 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Redmi Note has a 13MP camera and 5MP front-facing camera.

With such features and a low price, there is no denying that it would capture the market at the Redmi 1S did. Reportedly, Xioami had sold 10,000 units of Redmi Note in just a second in Taiwan.

Now, that is some record that will burn the rival companies with jealousy.
